Lelior’s Le Monet | The Bigger Brother to the Bonaparte

Adding fragrance is one of the easiest and simplest ways to immediately elevate your space. Every time you visit a hotel or spa, be assured they are blowing specific scents into the air to make you FEEL that luxury in more ways than the decor.

Luxury home fragrance brand Lelior takes room scenting typically made for hoteliers and event spaces, and brings it to the individual rooms we create and inhabit for ourselves. Your home, studio or office can be treated with a fine fragrance overlay from their home diffusers that take up minimal space while reaching a vast square footage.

Le Monet – Form and Functionality

Lelior’s Le Monet, is what I find to be the perfect home accompaniment. Sleekly designed and quality assured, this bigger brother to their Le Bonaparte can reach 500 square feet, perfect for studios and offices.

Like their other diffusers, Le Monet uses advanced cold air diffusion technology. There is no water reservoir meaning it is easier to maintain with no likelihood of growing mold or bacteria.

Le Monet is modern in its design and in its functionality. The sleek tower takes minimal room real estate, perfect for NYC spaces, and comes with an automatic shut-off feature to reserve its lifespan.

It also is quiet at under 38DB and has app capabilities as well as data monitoring.

The Le Monet is lightweight at under 3 pounds and comes with a USB cable for operation. The Le Monet also comes in three colors: Black, Silver and Rose Gold.

My personal choice was the Rose Gold color as I’ve decided to have more pink in my life.

Lelior really imbues their products with care – from their included Quality Check certificate to the matte finish on their essential oil packages. Everything is beautifully packaged.

The included instruction booklet is very easy to understand when looking up how to put in fragrance oils. My two fragrances were from the Hotel Collection: the Encore and the Azora.

I opted for filling the oil compartment with only a little fragrance since I knew I would be likely to switch oils around according to my mood. However, even with just a small amount of fragrance oil, the diffuser did not go through it very fast so I had to wait before trying out my second fragrance.

Sleek, powerful – but is it for sensitive noses?

The diffuser is very powerful and for me, I found a little fragrance goes a long way. I am particularly sensitive to scents and once I started using the diffuser me and another member of my household started to sneeze. The auto-shutoff feature was perfect in dispersing just a little bit of scent without overloading the room or the locals’ noses.

If the fragrance is too strong for sensitive smellers, I would put the diffuser in a far part of the room and let it slowly mingle fragrance into the air, little by little, in a way to sort of “dilute” the intensity. With up to 500 square feet coverage, it can reach a good amount of distance so don’t be concerned about it effectively adding fragrance to your space.

Operation and Care for your Diffuser

I initially thought the USB cable that came with my diffuser was for charging. It is actually for operation, meaning if it’s not plugged in, it won’t turn on. I thought I could get away with leaving it plugged into an external battery, but I found that my external battery would shut itself off after a few moments without the proper energy draw, which would in turn cause the Le Monet diffuser to turn off as well. I would recommend sticking to a stronger power source.

With any nice item, care is always involved. I talked with Lelior’s amazing brand representative to inquire about cleaning the oil compartment.

Once you want to switch fragrances, all you have to do is rinse the reservoir out with water and then let it air dry. Once it is dry you can put in your next chosen scent.

With the impressive space the Le Monet can cover in such a lightweight compact form, I found it is no wonder this model is their best seller.

I’m personally looking forward to trying out more of their amazing fragrances. You can also sample them for free if you are looking to find your own fragrance as well.

If you desire your space to carry that hotel or spa touch, Lelior is also running a sale until July 4th with 30% all items.
