The roots of Science of Mind and Spirit run deep and wide, through the religions, philosophies, literature, legend, and science of humankind. They are Universal Truths, Universal Principles, which were encountered, recognized, synthesized, structured into a "philosophy, a faith, a way of life," and called the Science of Mind and Spirit by an ardent young spiritual explored named Ernest Holmes, a persistent questioner and rejecter of the accepted religious teachings of his day and culture.
The purpose of the class is to bring our grasp of Science of Mind and Spirit principles into sharper focus by exploring the soil in which Holmes' ideas took root, and to savor with pure enjoyment-the richness of the rational, philosophical, and mystical concepts contributed by three great writers.
